Seeking Public Input on Draft Vacant and Unoccupied Buildings Bylaw

The Town of Watson Lake is seeking public input on the draft Vacant and Unoccupied Buildings Bylaw 2026-01

This proposed bylaw is intended to ensure that vacant or unoccupied buildings in our community are properly secured and maintained to reduce safety hazards, prevent property deterioration, and support the overall well-being of neighborhoods.

Residents are encouraged to review the draft bylaw and share feedback. Your input will help Council refine the bylaw before it proceeds further in the approval process.

The draft bylaw can be viewed on the Town of Watson Lake website (link below) or by visiting the Town Office during regular business hours. Comments can be submitted to the Town Office during regular business hours or by email to cdo@watsonlake.ca.
