Water Treatment Operator II
The Town of Watson Lake is seeking a Water Treatment Operator II to join our Utilities team! This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive wages, premium pay, pension, benefits, four weeks vacation, professional development, and relocation assistance.
As the Operational Supervisor, you’ll oversee water treatment, distribution, sewer systems, and the district heating system, while leading a small team. This is your chance to live and work at the gateway to the Yukon, surrounded by pristine wilderness, endless outdoor adventure, and a welcoming community.

Water Treatment Operator II Employment Opportunity
Auxiliary, On-Call Custodian
The Custodian is responsible for the routine cleaning of Town of Watson Lake recreational facilities and contributes to the effective operations of the Recreation Department by maintaining safe and sanitary facility spaces for community use. The Custodian also assists the Front Desk and Recreation Programmer with event preparation and customer service support, as needed. This incumbent must have effective time management skills, be detail oriented, and must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Permanent, Full-Time Equipment Operator 1
Operating a variety of equipment primarily at the Watson Lake Landfill, the Equipment Operator I is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Landfill, the collection of residential waste for the municipality and for ensuring the cleanliness, basic maintenance and security of all equipment as directed by the Equipment Operator 3.
