National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The Town of Watson Lake has proclaimed September 30, 2026 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the children who never returned home from residential schools, survivors, intergenerational survivors, families, and communities, while encouraging reflection, understanding, and continued action toward reconciliation.
